This Is Me

This wasn’t the plan.
As I was approaching 60, I genuinely thought I didn’t have a creative bone in my body. The only arts and crafts I’d ever done involved glue sticks, googly eyes, and entertaining my kids when they were little.
Then one Christmas market changed everything.
Out with friends, we confidently announced, “We could make better things than that.”
Bold words from people who had absolutely no idea what they were doing.
Challenge accepted.
This is me and my recently adopted companion Sassy
So I found myself reorganising my study, buying supplies, and learning how to work with air dry clay.
And somewhere along the way… I caught the crafting bug.
After about a year, I decided to try resin — and completely fell in love with it.
My study slowly became a craft room, filled with resin moulds, gold flakes, glitter, and the occasional mild panic. I moved from UV resin to epoxy resin and suddenly realised this amazing (and slightly difficult) medium could turn all the ideas in my head into actual keepsakes.
The problem was, I had more ideas than time… and never enough resin.
One piece turned into another.
Friends started asking me to make things for them. Then I made all the table decorations and favours for my daughter’s wedding — and the response from everyone there completely overwhelmed me.

This is my workstation, half way through creating some pieces.
And now, here I am.
Sixty years old and starting a business for the very first time.
Honestly? That’s both exciting and terrifying.
I’m not a trained designer.
I don’t have a fancy studio.
And I definitely don’t get everything right first time.
What I do have is a love for making small, meaningful things — the kind you pick up, smile at, and maybe show off just a little.
Everything I make is:
-
Handmade (usually with tea nearby and a bit of trial and error)
-
Personalised by you
-
Perfectly imperfect — because real life is too
Some pieces may have tiny bubbles.
Some may have little quirks.
All of them are made with care, intention, and occasionally a bit of improvising.
I make keepsakes for:
-
weddings
-
new babies
-
big birthdays
-
memories we want to hold onto
-
and those “just because” moments
Basically — all the bits of life that deserve something more than a note on your phone.
I’m still figuring things out as I go.
Some days I feel very “small business owner.”
Other days I’m just hoping the resin behaves itself.
If you’re looking for perfect, identical, factory-made pieces… this probably isn’t the place.
If you want something simple, personal, and made by a real person who genuinely cares — you’re in the right place.
Thanks for being here. It really does mean a lot.
Personalised by you. Made by me.
Linda
